1. Is a deposit required to reserve a session?

Currently, in order to reserve your session, a $100 deposit is needed; this amount will be subtracted from the total cost. To hold your slot, a signed contract is required.

2. What if I have to cancel or reschedule?

Clients may cancel their photo session between 30 and 10 days before the event start time and will receive 50% refund. Cancellations submitted less than 10 days before the event start time are not refundable

3. Can I upgrade my session after booking?

Definitely! For a basic session, since larger sessions require additional time, you can request an upgrade up to 2 days before your session. If I am able to accommodate, I would be happy to do so. For other sessions, you can upgrade even after your session up until midnight of the day of your session.

4. How quickly will I receive my images?

After your session, I will provide you a link to all of the photographs so you can decide which ones to add to the bundle you’ve chosen. After you’ve selected your favorite photographs to be edited, it may take up to two weeks to get them.

5. How do I receive my digital images?

Once the photograph has been edited, it will be made available in an amazing online gallery.

6. Do I get to see all the photos from the session?

Unfortunately, I cannot provide all the unedited images taken during your session as this does not represent my work and could be damaging to my business.

7. Can I buy additional images after the session?

Yes! From your online viewing gallery, you will be able to select additional images.

8. How long will I have to view my online gallery?

Your online viewing gallery will be available for 3 months from the date it is sent to you. Extensions can be granted at a fee of $10 per month. Once your gallery has expired, to re-activate your gallery there will be one-time re-upload fee of $25 that will give you access for 1 month.

9. Can my images remain private and not be shared publicly?

You must make a written request if you do not want your photographs to be published on my website, social media, marketing, etc.

10. Do you do sessions on weekends?

I am delighted to provide you with the necessary photography service when you need it.

1. What is the best age to photograph my new baby?

It is ideal to schedule newborn sessions as soon as possible, ideally before the child is two weeks old. Babies are still often quite drowsy at this age and may still form a lot of adorable postures. After two weeks, newborns frequently start to stiffen up and it might be harder to get them into some of the cutest postures.

2. Can you photograph a baby that is older than 2 weeks?

Yes! I can still capture many beautiful and precious images even for babies that are a bit older. Some babies at 3-4 weeks may be more alert, less sleepy and more difficult to pose. There is a potential that the session may need to include more wrapped poses.

3. When should I call to reserve my newborn portrait session?

The best time to book your newborn session is before your baby is born. I only schedule a limited number of sessions per month, so an early reservation ensures a slot will be available for you.

4. How do I book a session if I’m not sure when baby will be born?

No exact date is set before your baby is born. I record your due date and reserve your slot. We will finalize the exact date and time once your baby has arrived. It is important to be in touch with me as soon as your baby is born so we have the most options for dates for your session.

5. My baby is already born. Can I still do a newborn session?

Feel free to contact us for any last-minute availability. If I have an opening I would be happy to accommodate you.

6. How long does a newborn session take?

Newborn sessions take between 2-4 hours depending on the type of session you reserve. This includes time to feed and change the baby. For more details, please click here. The length and number of poses for each session will vary depending on the baby’s cooperation.

7. Do you provide any props for the session?

All wraps, props and outfits are provided for you.

8. Can I bring special items to include in the photos?

Yes! If there are any special or sentimental items you would like to incorporate into the session – family heirlooms, special blanket, wedding ring, etc. – just let me know and I will try to accommodate.

9. Can parents and siblings be in the pictures too?

The birth of a newborn is an amazing moment to capture priceless memories of your growing family. Parents and siblings can be included in all sessions. If siblings are being brought to the studio, please be sure there is an additional adult at all times to be responsible for the children.

10. How do I prepare for my newborn session?

After you reserve your newborn session, I will provide you with all the detailed information you need to know, including how to prepare, what to bring and other helpful tips.

11. What should we wear for the session?

You should dress lightly, as I keep the studio at a warm temperature for your baby’s comfort and safety. If you are planning on being in photos, you should wear soft toned and muted solid colors to keep the focus on the faces. I recommend wearing something a bit dressy for your photos. It is not every day that you capture professional photos.
